A One Man Army Munna Bhai of Kaisar Bagh, originally uploaded by firoze shakir photographerno1.

Munna Bhai is a legendary figure at Kaisar Bagh.
Kaisar Bagh is incomplete without Munna Bhai, he initiates the kids to the sorrow of the blade, he gets them to cut their foreheads , yes verily Munna Bhai is a humble man, low profile, he hates his pictures to be taken but this is the closest I could get to him, he has helped me over the years, and honestly I hardly know him.. we meet at Kaisar Bagh and that is it…

The daggers all belong to him, he has of varying sizes , but the curve one in his hand is what the kids love ..

I have been coming to Kaisar Bagh for several years now , and Munna Bhai has cooperated in seeing that I get the best pictures , a task that is utterly impossible with the seething pushing overpowering crowds..

I offer my prayers to him and his family, this complete low profile very famous Shia son of Dongri.

Eve of 8 th Moharam Kaisar Bagh 2009, originally uploaded by firoze shakir photographerno1.

I was back at Kaisar Bgh to shoot the second day proceedings known as eve of 8th Moharam.

I shot a 2.25 GB Card but this time I concentrated on the procession that earlier I normally shot from the dais.

I shot head cutting with Munna Bhai calling the shots, the guy who had bloodied his face last night was missing he had to take 18 stitches on his opened up scalp.

I left from her past midnight
