A child and his father at Kaiser Bagh, I shot a few frames, and the child coolly did what he will do when he grows a little bigger, this is a fathers personal prerogative towards his religiosity.A cycle unbroken of pain , from father to son since 1400 years .
Kaiser Bagh is verily an Institution that nurtures Shiasm as Ghame Hussain.
The blades are shaped as hockey sticks and this variety causes maximum damage to the back.The father has had this custom made for his son.
There are fathers who bring their infant kids to Munna Bhai who uses the tip of the dagger very gently on the head, and this too is an initiation into pain.
Hyderabad is the city where on AShura day at Bargah of Hazrat Abbas you will see kids undergoing this held in the hands of their fathers.
The mothers on this issue have no grouse , and take it is a part of our tradition to pain -Ghame Hussain.
Yesterday my relative who was here for our House Majlis was telling me there is village called Sharif Ganj in Uttar Pradesh cut themselves and mourn the Martyrdom of Imam Hussain.
