My First Fast of Ramadan

In about another 25 minutes
Invoke Allah’s name and will
Break my first fast
A moment that even
Once it is broken
Till the end of Ramadan
Will last
A call to that brings back into
The fold the devoted
Also the outcaste
My wife will bring the
Ifiari stuff from home
To my shop
Together with the staff
We with bowed heads
Eat a morsel
That after our
Leaving this planet
Shall outlast
Yes this is the
Wealth that
Together we have
In His bounty amassed
