The stength of our Shia convictions that bound us to the Holy Prophet through Imam Hussain ,yet they call us Kaffirs , those that kept quite when Imam Hussain was Martyred in Karbala..

Commemorating Chehlum of Shuhada e Kerbala

The 40th [Arbaeen or Chehlum] marks an important turning point in the movement of Kerbala. This day, which is no less important to the day of Aashura is important for many reasons – the prime being that the Ahlu’l Bayt reached the land of Kerbala on this day and performed the visitation to Sayyid ash-Shuhada al-Husain and the loyal family and friends who gave their life for the cause of Islam.
Although the historians differ on when this event transpired; some say it was in the same year of the massacre in Kerbala in the year 61 AH, whilst other say it was in the following year. Whatever the case, the atrocities and difficulties which the family were put through in the court of Yazid and the long ride to Kerbala culminated on the 20th of Safar on the empty plains of Kerbala.
The grave of Imam Husain was not desolate as some may expect. Rather, as the Ahlu’l Bayt were approaching Kerbala, there were a few people already at the grave, marking his martyrdom with tears. The individual, who had been a companion of the Prophet of Islam – Jabir ibne Abdullah al-Ansari (who at this point was blind) – along with his assistant, had made the trek from Madina to the place of martyrdom of his Imam and master. Jabir called out to his Imam, “I testify that you are the son of the Seal of the Prophets, the son of the Master of the Faithful, the son of the inseparable ally of piety, the descendant of guidance…†His servant noted to him that he could see a caravan of people in the distance and they were approaching this sacred site. As they approached, they realized that this was none other than the caravan of present Imam, Ali ibn al-Husain as-Sajjad with the other family members and assistants!
The historians note that at this point, Jabir and his assistant, Atiyyah, moved out of the way so that the women of the Ahlu’l Bayt and the others could show their grief at the sacred grave in privacy and according to reports, the heads of the martyrs were also buried at this point in time – as before leaving Shaam, they were given back the sacred heads of the martyrs.
Chehlum
Here at Hussain Tekri , all the people who come here from Mumbai Lucknow Hyderabad, Kashmir other regins to bond , to be one in the pain of the greatest Martyr of all Imam Hussain..
There is a Ag Ka Matam , a fire walk, a juloss or Amari, scourgngs, maam, all the Rozas have Majlis recitation, Hussain Tekri has like Jogipura become an important Shia pilgrimage destination.
This is the Alam of Abbas the brother standard bearer of the Imams Army.

The Sunnis are a majority sect among the Muslims , most of them are aware of Hazrat Imam Hussains contribution to Islam, pay tribute to his Sacrifice.But do not follow or adhere to Shia beliefs.The Shias make the Martyrdom of Imam Hussain as Way of Life , mourn, shed blood live in austerity till Moharam gets over.
The Wahhabis disown Shiasm as heresy , follow a puritanical form of Islam , promoting sectarian Hate ,disseminating the killing of those who dont follow their kind of Islam..
The Wahhabis dont adhere to Dargah or grave visting…but visit to the Mecca and Medina is must once in your LIfe time..
The Hussain Tekri Shia Shrines are under the administration upkeep of the Sunnis, so in advertently the atmosphere outside the Shrines is more of a Dargah type nature..
Incidentally these Shrines have more Dalits the lower castes, the underprivilged , the Hindus visiting this place.
There is also a Imambara here of Imam Hussain run by the Sikhs.
Humanity thy name is Hussain.Har Kaum Pukaregi hamare Hain Hussain.. provided the hardliners Shias allow Imam Hussain to move out of the Shia Imambaras nd mingle with the general public…
There is a demented sect among the Shia known as the Shia Wahhabis who do not believe in Azadari or the way the main stream Shias celebrate Moharam. These guys are also called Shia Talibans.

The most impotant thing in Life as a photographer is respect, for another mans culture, his tradition , his rituals, you may not adhere to the persons belief but respect the sanctity of his soul and yours too.Dont be be Goofy, falling overboard with your corny comments, there is time and place for it, dont give me reason here at Flickrs to feel I am colored only my pictures are…
I am also a hot headed guy, I am not a pre teen , you take my ass , and I will ask for more.. No Way .So be nice dont be nasty, you dont like what you see, click you get a better world than I expose..be a sensitive photographer , besides camera technique learn good pictorial matters.. in my world it does matter..wonky pictures are fine stop shooting wonky words that hurt …
The biggest problem is in this world of photography , there are great photographers but where are the humans gone.. comments should be constructive even in their negativity..We are all here to Learn that is how we earn.. your respect and our own…
This last part is for smart ass photographers who shoot with their mouth and talk with their cameras..

Better Be Saif than Be Sorry
Saif Shakir is my son, 23 years old , today was his traditional day so he ransacked my wardrobe , he was going dressed as Pandit or a Hindu Astrologer, of couse he got the first prize at his college.
He is quite tense these days as his mon has begun hunting for a wife for him, she visited a place to give his proposal, so lets see whats in store for him, yes he will not see his bride to be, this is called arranged marriage, my wife will do the selection, she knows my sons needs … better than my son.

40 year old woman in Mewat district of Hayana gave birth to her 23rd child on Sunday .
The baby was born to Bismillah 40 and Mohammad Ishaq 50 at the nearby Al Afia Government Hospital in the district.
The couple were married in 1976 and since then , Bismillah has given birth to 23 children the latest being a female child who was born on Sunday named Shabira .
“delighted father Mohamed Ishaq said “Yeh toh sab Allah ki den hai agar hamara chaubiswabaccha agle sal hua to who bhi hum Allah ke den samjhenge.â€
(All this is Allahs gift ,If we get a 24th child next year we will welcome it too).â€

have Matam pictures of this trip, street photography, but what fascinated me was the people over the hill, out of their senses,terminal cases,what hurt was not the mindlessness of the possessed person but his or her loved ones bearing the brunt..
The largest crowds of this possessed people wee at the Shrine of Hazrat Abbas or the Shrine of Hazrat Ali..I will describe it through pictures.At 5 pm at the Shrine was Loban time this is frankincence the fumes of this would drive the posseessed into frenzy..
The strenght that came over them was out of this planet , I have seen guys smash their heads on the heavy iron doors no pain.. I saw a guy who was transformed into a serpent , he was human but his movements on the floor like a snake..he was quite angry when I fired my flash, you might think I am kidding , these are about 4 yeard old pictures, I had just bought the Nikon D70 he stopped my camera..it just went dead , I bought it to Mumbai gave it to the Nikon technicians Inerfot paid Rs 90000, I have the reciept..
You guys will think I am pulling a fast one, but there so much negative energy here that I cant tell you in words.I have awareness because of my Sufi mind control, but I wont say much
.Now to the picture , this is my last post for th night.This is a sewer pond, urine shit all the scum enters here from the bursting at the seams community lavatory ..the people in the pond are all posssessed , in various stages , they dont eat drinks they are are in a stage of living dead..some have buried themselves alive in the muck, only the holes for the nostrils to inhale…
They are total zombies.. many have been left here in a zone of no return by their own relatives, they are nameless , just living..people throw money at them.. the stink here is bad, photography well it is at your own risk…There is more these are total 7 Cds ..I start this set with ritualism,raw gut tearing inhumanity..This s the largest holistc mental hospital,some go back cured, there is another one in Gujrat called Meena Datar at Unjha , I hope to visit oneday.
Yes you are right there was this urge to remove my clothes jump into this muck, lie next to them.. to try to feel what they were feeling, but my looks my black long djellabas had me famous for the wrong reasons, young urchins followed me where ever I went..I was alone this was my first and last time..
I was later .warned with dire consequences for shooting them..
I was not allowed to shoot at the loban time..All the Shrines are run by the Sunnis…
This was a royalestate onceupon a time ..under the Nawabs of Jaorah..
